D.A.D.

Downtrodden Alcoholic Detective is a father and a husband but he has a substance abuse problem. During the financial turmoil of the Great Depression, no one has money to pay for a once great detective so day in and day out the detective goes to the bar to drown out his sorrow while leading his wife and child to believe he is out actively looking for work. On one fateful day while enjoying his fire water, the owner and his cronies come looking for the tab to be paid, in full. Unable to pay, Downtrodden Alcoholic Detective limps home after a beating to find his home ransacked and his wife missing. You are Downtrodden Alcoholic Detective and it is up to you to look for clues that will lead you to your wife's captors and save her from peril.
